Katie Cook Sculptures

My sculptures are inspired for my love for nature and animals. During my degree I focused my artwork towards building awareness for animal abuse. This background influences me to keep making sculptures of animals.
I am drawn to capturing the beauty of animals within my sculptures. I am influenced by my own rescue animals,  which helps me understand how to capture the unique personalities of each animal within my sculptures.
My sculpture are hand made in wax, I then cast molds from these sculptures. From the molds I am able to cast iron resin sculptures.
